– Resilient Teens; in life, relationships & their online world
This seminar includes:
- Understanding teen emotion and behaviour
- The factors that develop resilience in teens
- Who matters to teens and why?
- What leads to teen flourishing?
- Ideas on HOW to communicate with young people when things go wrong.
- Practical tips for connecting with teenagers.

Presenter: Collett Smart
Collett Smart is a psychologist, qualified teacher, speaker and internationally published author of ‘They’ll be Okay: 15 Conversations to help your child through troubled times’ (Hachette). She has also contributed chapters to a number of other parenting books.
Collett has a YouTube channel called, ‘Wellbeing with Collett’ and has a podcast with a Sydney radio station called, ‘Raising Teens’. Collett has delivered seminars around the world and is an Ambassador for International Justice Mission Australia.
She lives in Sydney, with her husband and 3 children, aged 21, 19 and 14 years-old.
